Logbook
Every entry in your logbook. Click a row to edit; every change is kept in that entry's history.
Recency computed against Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs 401.05) where applicable. This is a personal tracking aid, not a legal currency determination. Always confirm against your PRIA or company records.
Type ratings and PPC tracker
Pilot Proficiency Checks are tracked per type. Canadian ops commonly require renewal within 12 months (adjust validity per your operator's approved program).

Flights flown together
Tail numbers derived from your flight entries. Pick one to see its flight history and edit its details, photo, or ForeFlight-style specs.
Track
While the app is open, Squawk watches your phone's GPS speed and automatically records a flight track once you pass 30 kt, then stops once you're back under it. Each completed track becomes a pre-filled draft you can review and save to your logbook, with times in UTC.

Everything here lives only in this browser. Save a version before big changes, revert if an import goes wrong, or reset and start over.
Versions
A version is saved automatically before every import, or a reset. You can also save one manually at any time.
Danger zone
Permanently erase every flight, aircraft, person, and setting stored in this browser. A version of your current data is saved first, so this can still be undone from the list above.

Optional. Squawk works fully offline either way — this is only for signing in.

Configure Squawk to fit how you log flights.
Custom fields
Add your own fields to every flight entry. They'll appear in the New entry form and each entry's edit panel, right alongside the built-in fields.
Flight tags
Tag flights from each entry's Flight tags section — PPC rides, check rides, or your own. Give a tag a currency validity (in months) to get an auto-tracked currency card on the Currency page, updated from the most recent tagged flight with no manual date entry.
Google Maps
The route map on each entry already uses a built-in Google Maps key (cities, roads, terrain). Only fill this in if you want to override it with your own key on this device — for example while testing a new key before swapping it in the app's source. Create a key in the Google Cloud Console with the "Maps JavaScript API" enabled, restricted to your site's domain under Application restrictions. An override is stored only in this browser, not synced to your account. If you change it after the map has already loaded once, reload the page for the new key to take effect.

Logbook preferences
Show Time off / Time on fieldsTotal time is always calculated from Hobbs (if entered) or Time out/Time in — Time off and Time on are informational only. Off by default to keep the Start and end section short.
Time out / Time in are local, not Zulu
Used only for the Night time suggestion. Off (default) assumes Time out/in are Zulu. On treats them as local time at the departure airport, estimated from its longitude — there's no timezone database, so this ignores daylight saving and political time zone boundaries.

If something looks out of date after an update, this is the fastest way to check — a service worker can take an extra reload to pick up a fix. If it looks stale, clearing this site's data (not just reloading) forces a fresh copy.
